Ol' Curmudgeon wins award

The Chesapeake Bay Writers, of which I am a member, had their annual meeting at Warner Hall in Gloucester, Va on the 14th of this month. The meeting consisted of cocktail hour followed by a fantastic lunch and then our meeting. Part of the meeting involved writers reading their works which were short stories, poems and essays. The members and guests then voted for the best works. I won the Award For Humor with my poem Lunch At Costco's. Winning this award was especially gratifying for me because it was awarded by my peers.
