Where in the hell is our government??

Once again our government proves that the only thing that happens in Washington is bickering between the two parties!! Our presidunce had to have another beuracracy. He had to have the Department of Homeland Security. He had to have billions in funding for it. It has been several years since 9-11. We should have a system in place to handle things like Katrina, and yet the government is proving once again that they really don't care about situations that pertain to poor people. Sometimes I think that our government would simply like to be rid of these ,"liabilities." People starving; people going to the bathroom where they eat and sleep; people dying; No fresh water to drink; WHERE IS OUR GOVERNMENT? WHY WEREN'T THEY PREPARED? They have spent billions on homeland security. Where did this money go? We might want to blame the ruling Republican party, but the sad truth is that it wouldn't be any better if the dumbacrats were in power. These people running our government are all wealthy, and they couldn't care less about average Joe American. We are no more than tools to get more luxuries for them. It isn't going to get better either. How can it unless there is a complete change in our political system. The Arabs must be laughing loudly. We have demonstrated what they have known all along. WE AREN'T PREPARED FOR ANYTHING!!
