The feeding tube was removed today. I feel like a whole person again! I thought that some stitches would be needed, but I was wrong. The doc says that the hole will heal in three or four days. In the mean time there will be some seepage, and a 4x4 bandage has been applied and will need to be changed daily. My weight has actually gone up a couple of pounds. We had pork roast with mashed potatos and gravy for dinner. I couldn't taste any of it. I pray that I will get my taste back some day. I can taste sweet though and am happy about that.
